JULY 2008 NEWS
It is puppy season once again and we need blankets, towels, crates, e-pins, food and water bowls, puppy pads, puppy formula, doggy pools for the puppies to sleep in, Petsmart, Petco, Walmart, Target gift cards, puppy toys, etc. since we now have many litters that came to us recently. Also, if you are interested in fostering a mommy and puppies, please email us at chihaven@wildblue.net. You can bring any of the above to us at Petsmart in Lake Elsinore on Saturday or Sunday when we are there. See above for exact times and dates. Thank you so much for your kindness in this very tough economy!
These are Chihuahua mix puppies due to be adopted in late July/early August 2008.

You can always come visit us at the Petsmart in Lake Elsinore on Saturdays from 11 to 4 or Sundays from 11 to 3 for more information.

GRANDPA!
Grandpa is a male 10 year old long haired dachshund who is blind with not many teeth, but is the dream lap dog. Grandpa gets around really well and learns his environment quickly so he doesn't bump into things. Please email us at chihaven@wildblue.net for an adoption application.
Who We Are
We are a rescue consisting of an all volunteer organization (all of our volunteers have full time jobs) where all of our dogs are rescued from shelters and then put in a foster network where all the dogs are in private homes everyday. We do not have a shelter and our dogs are not kept in cages. All of our dogs are started on housebreaking, however, we do not guarantee that they will be housebroken. We offer education on how to housebreak a dog as well as other information on different situations. Every dog is spayed or neutered, current on shots, dewormed, Advantix for fleas and ticks and is microchipped. For the dogs that need grooming, we take our dogs to professional groomers. For consideration of one of our dogs, please email us at chihaven@wildblue.net for an adoption application. If approved, we will make an appointment with you to see the dog. We are located in Corona and Temecula Valley, CA and we will meet you in Corona or Temecula or at the Petsmart in Lake Elsinore. Sorry we do not ship dogs. You can fax your application to (951) 763-2539. All emails are returned and phone calls are returned within 24 hours. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!!!

CHAQUITA!
Chaquita is a our special needs dog as she is an 8 year old female chihuahua who has artrithis and needs daily medicine. The medicine is not very expensive (about $20 a month) but it makes her feel alot better and she is able to go for walks and be a happy lap dog. Come Visit Us!
If you would like to visit one of our dogs, please email us and we can make arrangements to meet you in Corona or Temecula during the week by appointment. Otherwise, we will be at the Lake Elsinore Petsmart on Saturday and Sunday and we ask that you email us by Friday to let us know what dog you would like to see on the weekend!! The address for the Petsmart is 29227 Central Ave., Lake Elsinore, CA in the Lowe's shopping center of the 15 freeway at Central Ave.
